First of all, this is not an Oncor fan site. I promise that I have no ties to Oncor but I do think they have a couple of good programs out there and want to promote those programs.
That said, I knew that Austin Energy had a program to buy old refrigerators and freezers for $100 but I didn’t know anything like that existed up in North Texas. Turns out that if you have an old refrigerator or freezer, Oncor will buy it from you for $50 AND they will come and pick it up for you. This was great since I was responsible for disposing of one of my relatives ancient freezers. I saved a trip to the dump AND made $50.
