2009 was a good year for solar in Dallas but 2010 is going to be a GREAT year. With the addition of local utility rebates as well as the 30% federal tax credit, the market has never looked better.
Meridian Solar has been one of the leading solar companies in North Texas leading that charge. Ryan Hunter, General Manager of Meridian Solar’s Dallas Office, says that “growth has been extremely strong and we have some really exciting projects set to come online in 2010″.
The local utility rebates are scheduled to stick around for the next three years and there has been an impressive drop in module prices and installation costs across the industry as a whole.
